The Wild Hunters
The servants of Mosul believe in the inherent superiority of the Olveri, and believe that the ultimate expression of that superiority lies in the Hunt. The mightier the quarry, the more glorious the Hunt, and sentient beings are the preferred prey.
Members of The Brotherhood are always male. They are typically solitary, although occasionally groups may hunt together, competing for the best kill. They are cruel, proud, and self-sufficient to a fault.
Class Features: Brothers of the Twisted Spear are Rangers. Their favored enemies must all be sentient, and their first favored terrain must be forest. Additionally, the Brother of the Twisted Spear gains the following powers, which replace Hunter’s Bond:
Poisoner (Ex): At 1st level, the Brother is trained in the use of poison and cannot accidentally poison himself when applying poison to a blade.
Master Poisoner (Ex): At 3rd level the Brother can use Craft (Alchemy) to change the type of a poison. This requires 1 hour of work with an alchemist’s lab and a Craft (Alchemy) skill check with a DC equal to the poison’s DC. If successful, the poison’s type changes to contact, ingested, inhaled, or injury. If the check fails, the poison is ruined. The Brother also receives a bonus to Craft (Alchemy) skill checks when working with poisons equal to 1/2 his level.
Prerequisites: A Brother of the Twisted Spear must obviously be Olveri, and is usually from a powerful family.
